This full-length compilation album from Patrick Kelleher and his Cold Dead Hands, Catscars and Everything Shook was originally issued in a strictly limited edition to audience members of a concert of these three bands at Dublin’s BelloBar on 1 July 2017.

The title was in reference to the venue’s canalside location. The original intention was to further perform a sporadic series of concerts at different venues located by canals and rivers around Ireland, at which - and only at which - this compilation (and similar future limited edition releases) would be available.

However (as of May 2020), with live music venues now closed and events cancelled worldwide, and with more music being currently enjoyed by listeners at home, it has been felt appropriate to finally make this available to a general audience.

Half of the material on this collection has remained effectively unreleased and largely unheard until now, presented here interspersed with a selection of playful and charming favourites: including cover versions, studio out-takes, live performance and remixes.
